- Possible to mine currently with Proof of Work still supported by both $ETH
- Planned fork of $ETH towards Proof of Stake consensus protocol helped create fork to $ETC (Ethereum Classic)
- Can buy directly $ETH
- Tokens are all derivatives of of $ETH
